Ensures good quality output based on defined parameters and controls the time delivery of products. Monitors tool parameters and ensures that they are within the specified tolerance value. Apply engineering analysis or quality tools on top of quality issue contributors and execute corrective actions with urgency. Perform qualification and production runs of quality wafers. Take a lead role in improvement programs like SPC, Bright Idea, and 5S. Support PE, EE, and trainers in other activities related to process improvements. Escalate issues and concerns or any other tool abnormalities to the immediate superior. Acts as a senior buddy to WAP (newly hired personnel) or a cross-trained lead technician. Check lot integrity and ensure no discrepancy. Establish and initiate ideas to continuously improve our process. Perform minor troubleshooting and problem analysis. Investigate and solve process-related failures and yield concerns together with the 8D team. Perform a compliance audit under manufacturing authorization. Oversees and monitors the processing of lots for engineering evaluation, qualification, or experiment during the assigned shift. Ensures that the SPC control charts are properly used and maintained in the area of assignment.
